33. Maths Helps
Chapter One
A man named Landodo was sent by God into farming. It was mostly what he dreamt about.
He went into farming, had about 60 hectares of land and produced food for his area and neighboring places.
After the fourth year of farming to his surprise there was an abundance of food in the markets and his goods were not needed. It was a terrible loss indeed.
Chapter Two
Landodo thought long and hard for weeks wondering what was the cause of his loss and how to prevent it.
He came to two conclusions:
- There must be calculations before farming.
- Farmers must plant long lasting goods to avoid losses.
Oh maths helps, he thought. The study of maths would prevent losses and death.
Chapter Three
An important statement Landodo told his newly wedded younger sister was that:
We should pray for the number of children to give birth to. Maths helps.
We need to consider the amount of jobs available for the children to work, possibilities of war and if there is enough food for them. This is hard for one to calculate so we pray for an answer.
His sister was grateful.
